A Brand New BMW With 3D Printed Meteoric Parts

BMW has powered the start of new year 2019 with the launch of Individual M850i Night Sky car from BMW Individual Manufaktur, Garching, Germany. The car and its features are all over the information networks but the coolest thing is incorporation of aluminium and meteoritic rock materials in various parts of the car.

This special addition of BMW has :

  1. The center ‘mesh plate’ with 3D Octahedral structure which appears in iron meteorites.

2. 3D printed brake calipers ( previously incorporated by Bugatti also).

3. Mirror caps, the exterior for the air filters on the front side panels of the car.

4. And above all a 10 million EURO investment for an  Additive Manufacturing Campus, opening its gate in 2019!
