Research Group Concludes, Enclosed 3D Printers Are Safe For Users

The title of the published report is “Enclosure performance: Ultra-fine particles (UFPs) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) removal efficiency of desktop 3D printer enclosures”. Study conducted by Built Environment Research Group, Illinois Institute of Technology, concluded that in enclosed environment the general emission hazards are well within limits for most of the 3D Printers tested. Hepa filteration system was found to be the back bone of reduced emissions in 3D Printers.
